To keep customers to stay in line with their preferences, the company is introducing a new model, named Yamaha Nmax 155.It’s a maxi-scooter which was unveiled at the India Mobility Expo 2024. In the Indian market, there is a growing attraction towards maxi-scooters. This is due to their futuristic style, advanced features, and robust performance.
Nmax 155 is based on the highly popular maxi-scooter platform of Yamaha, the Aerox 155. Yamaha is planning to introduce it in India by the end of 2024 or the beginning of 2025. Here are five highlights of the Yamaha Nmax 155 according to this report.

From a visual perspective, Yamaha Nmax 155 is a true maxi-scooter with a substantial size. It features twin LED headlights on the wide apron, and a long black windshield that adds a new dimension to its design. The central spine contributes to its captivating look. The rear and sides also showcase stylish elements.

Nmax 155 is loaded with fantastic features, including all-LED lighting, remote boot release, and a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. It might be the first scooter in India to have a dual-channel ABS setup.
Nmax 155 :Egine
At its core, the scooter houses a 155cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. It is expected to produce a maximum power of 14.9 bhp and 13.5 Nm of torque. The engine is equipped with Variable Valve Timing (VVT), the same as found in Yamaha R15 and Aerox 155.
Nmax 155 :Hardware
In terms of hardware, Yamaha Nmax 155 is built on an underbone chassis. The suspension setup comprises telescopic front forks and a rear shock absorber. It is anticipated to offer even more comfortable suspension than the Aerox 155. It will roll on 13-inch wheels with disc brakes on both ends.
Nmax 155 : Price and Competition
After its launch, Yamaha Nmax 155 is expected to be priced between 1.6 lakhs to 1.7 lakhs INR (ex-showroom). In the market, it will compete with Yamaha Aerox 155 and the upcoming Hero Xoom 160.
