VinFast VF3: May be the Most Affordable Electric Car in India with a range 200KM

Vietnam’s electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast has stepped into the Indian car market recently. The company has laid foundation stone for establishing their production facility in Tamil Nadu. The trade-marked design of the company’s first electric car for India has been just revealed out and it is named as VinFast VF3. It’s a micro electric SUV equipped with two doors and four seats.It is believed to be launched at an affordable price and is expected to challenge its counterpart rival ,the MG Comet EV . However, there is no confirmed information about the launch-timeline for the car.

VinFast VF3’s design trademark has been registered, and details about the car’s dimensions have been revealed. The length, width, and height of the VinFast VF3 are 3,190 mm, 1,678 mm, and 1,620 mm, respectively. It features a spacious 550-liter boot space.Though,information about the battery pack has not yet been disclosed so far, but the company has mentioned that the car can cover a distance of 200 kilometers on a full charge.

In the global market, VinFast VF3 is available in two variants – Eco and Plus. The vehicle has a single motor configuration. Inside the cabin, there’s a large 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also includes a multi-function steering wheel with touch controls, a digital instrument cluster for the driver assistance, automatic climate control, dual airbags, and cruise control.

Notably, VinFast is building its electric car factory on a 400-acre land in Tamil Nadu. The company has announced a lumpsome investment of around 50 million dollars or approximately 4,160 crore rupees over the span of five years in different phases.They are planning to produce 150,000 units of cars annually from this factory and are also thinking to expand their dealership network across the country to get reach their cars hassle-freely to the desired consumers as far as possible.
