At the India Mobility Expo 2024 stage, we’re witnessing one dazzling reveal after another. This ultra-premium motorcycle, known for its café racer style, makes a grand entry into the Indian market.
TVS unveils the Norton V4CR Café Racer bike
After acquiring the British Norton brand, this marks TVS’s first venture into the Indian market with a café racer bike.Showcasing a premium brand in India is a significant goal for them. However, even though the V4CR Café Racer is revealed, there is no possibility of a widespread market launch in India.
The V4CR Café Racer is powered by a massive 1200cc V4 engine, producing a maximum of 185 bhp and 125 Nm torque. It comes equipped with high-performance features such as Ohlins suspension and various electronic components. Although the design may not appeal to the majority of Indians, its road presence is undeniably impressive.
There are broader plans involving the Norton brand within TVS. Rumors suggest that the Indian company is working on several models under this brand, intended for both the international and Indian markets. There are even talks of TVS manufacturing Norton motorcycles in their Hosur facility.”
