Tata Motors currently sells a total of 13 models in various segments in India, while Hyundai has 10 models, including five SUVs. Tata recently updated three popular SUVs – Nexon, Harrier, and Safari. Meanwhile, Hyundai launched the new generation Verna sedan and Exter Micro SUV last year.Both companies refrained from launching new models in December, instead focusing on clearing old stock and offering discounts to attract buyers.
On the other hand, Maruti Suzuki has outshone competitors in terms of market share by selling 104,778 units of cars in December.Tata, has elevated customer excitement in the new year by launching the Electric Vehicle Punch EV. They plan to introduce more electric models in the future, including Curvv EV and Harrier EV. Meanwhile, Hyundai, a while ago, brought the facelifted Creta to the market to give Tata a run for its money.
