Over the past few years, Tata Motors has been making waves in the passenger vehicle market, attracting a growing number of customers. Now, Tata is gearing up to unveil its “Curvv SUV” at the ‘Auto Expo 2023’ and ‘India Global Mobility Expo 2024.’ The coupe-style electric SUV is expected to launch officially at the end of this year.

In India’s mid-sized SUV segment, Tata Curvv is anticipated to create a storm, competing with popular models like Hyundai Creta and Kia Sonet. The coupe SUV design brings a distinctive look to the market, aiming to capture the popularity similar to Hyundai Creta. Let’s delve into the details of Tata Curvv.

Following Nexon and Punch, Tata Curvv plans to offer both battery and ICE versions. It might feature a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine, as seen in Nexon and Altroz. Alternatively, a 1.5-liter diesel motor might be available for the diesel variant. The vehicle will offer both manual and automatic transmissions, and the EV model is expected to achieve a range of 400 to 500 kilometers on a full charge.

Tata Curvv : Features

Tata has been focusing on modern technology in its recent models, evident in the facelifts of Nexon, Harrier, and Safari. It is anticipated that Curvv will continue this trend, possibly incorporating features like a multifunction steering wheel, a touch panel replacing conventional buttons, an illuminated brand logo in the center, and a full digital instrument cluster.

Tata Curvv : Safety

Safety is a priority for Tata, and Curvv is expected to achieve a five-star safety rating in crash tests. If it lives up to this expectation, it will likely outperform competitors in terms of safety, following the footsteps of Tata’s other vehicles like Nexon, Punch, Harrier, and Safari.
