At the India Mobility Expo 2024 event, Suzuki has unveiled a fantastic adventure bike named V-Strom 800 DE. Additionally, Suzuki has introduced a modern full-faired sports bike named GSX-8R, marking its debut in India. The GSX-8R utilizes a parallel-twin engine similar to the V-Strom 800 DE.

Suzuki GSX-8R made its global debut at the Milan Motorcycle Show in November last year. Mechanically, it shares similarities with the Suzuki GSX-8S, featuring a 776cc liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine producing 82 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 78 Nm torque at 6,800 rpm, coupled with a six-speed gearbox and a bidirectional quickshifter.

In terms of styling, the GSX-8R boasts sharp looks with a vertically stacked headlamp and a distinctive front cowl. It features integrated front cowls and a separate rearview mirror. Additionally, it has twin LED DRLs and a new twin-piece tail light at the rear.

Notable features of the Suzuki GSX-8R include dual-channel ABS, traction control, multiple riding modes, easy start system, and low RPM assist. The suspension setup comprises USD front forks and a monoshock at the rear. Braking is handled by a 310mm twin disc at the front with four-piston calipers and a 240mm single disc at the rear.

Suzuki has not yet officially announced the launch date for the GSX-8R in India.
