New Royal Enfield Hunter 450 will launch soon in a powerful avatar

Royal Enfield is currently gearing up to introduce several new motorcycles, with a focus particularly on the 450-650cc segment. One notable addition to this lineup is the Scrambler 650. The testing phase for this Scrambler model is currently underway. Additionally, the company is also working on a powerful version known as the Royal Enfield Hunter, expected to join the lineup soon.

As per reports, the launch of the Royal Enfield Hunter 450 may happen later phase of this year. It’s noteworthy that the current Hunter 350 model is already on sale and witnessing significant monthly sales. The success of the 350cc variant has prompted the company on consideration to launch of a more powerful 450cc version.Again, Royal Enfield launched the Himalayan 450 last year. Industry experts speculate that the Hunter 450 may come up with the same engine as that of Himalayan 450. The bike has been catched for the second time while undergoing road testing within a month.

The new Royal Enfield Hunter will feature a 17-inch wheel with block-pattern tires similar to the design of the Shotgun 650 alloy wheel. The bike maintains the distinctive round headlight and tank design same as seen in Hunter 350. At the rear, it integrates an LED tail light, turn indicators, and exhaust design which are inspired by the Himalayan 450.

The Hunter 450 will have telescopic front forks and a rear mono-shock suspension. It features a raised handlebar and mid-set footpegs to provide an upright riding posture.It could draw inspiration from the Himalayan 450 and as such may feature a 450cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled sherpa engine with an output of 40.02 PS and 40 Nm of peak torque.

The expected price for the Hunter 450 may be around 2.6 lakh INR (ex-showroom), and it may hit the market later of this year. Competing motorcycles in the market include the Triumph Speed 400, Husqvarna Svartpilen 401, Hero Mavrick 440, Harley-Davidson X440, and QJ Motor SRC 500.
