The “Earth Edition” of the car was launched yesterday. Inspired by India’s largest desert Thar, the new version highlights the exquisite natural beauty of the desert. It features Desert Furry Satin Matte paint. The Thar Earth Edition will be available in four variants with the LX Hard Top 4×4 system.The price of the SUV starts from ₹15.40 lakhs and goes upto ₹17.60 lakhs (ex-showroom).
Mahindra Thar Earth Edition: Design
Talking about the design, the Thar Earth Edition maintains the same design as other variants. In this special edition with Desert Furry Satin Matte paint, the rear fenders and door accents are color-matched. The B-pillar features Earth Edition badging. The 17-inch alloy wheels with a metallic finish add a unique touch to the overall design.
Mahindra Thar Earth Edition: Interior Design
The SUV’s interior follows a dual-tone color theme, using black as the base complemented by subtle beige tones in the seat headrests. The Thar logo is prominent on the inside of the doors, surrounded by dark chrome accents. The air vents, center console, and steering wheel feature Desert Furry-themed coloring. Additionally, Mahindra has mentioned that each car will have a car-commanded VIN plate with a unique number. Customers can also choose to customize their vehicles with accessories like front and rear armrests, floor mats, and a comfort kit.
