In the wake of Duke and RC ranges, KTM is now targeting the adventure segment. Thus, the organization has begun efforts to introduce a new version of the 390 Adventure bike, ideal for off-roading and touring. In India, photos of this motorcycle being tested have been captured on camera for the second time. It is estimated that this year, at the Milan Motorcycle Show, the new generation KTM 390 Adventure will be unveiled, and it will be launched in the market in 2025.
In the testing model, sharper lines and style are seen compared to the previous version. The front design is completely new.For low beam LED projector headlamps with vertical stack setup are highlighted. Meanwhile, high beam will be handled by an LED lamp. The LED DRL strip adds a touch of aggression. A long upright windscreen is incorporated to reduce the impact of wind on the rider’s face.
The KTM 390 Adventure new model uses the TFT screen taken from the 390 Duke. Due to the underslung exhaust and tail section, it often resembles a Dakar rally bike. The bike is based on a new subframe and trellis frame. Additionally, a new swing arm is introduced.
Present in the bike, as hardware are USD front forks and rear mono-shock suspension. In the model seen last December, it had 21-inch front and 19-inch rear wire spoke wheels. However, in this year’s model, 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels have been seen.
Like the previous model, the new KTM 390 Adventure will feature a 399cc liquid-cooled engine. It is expected to produce a maximum of 44.25 bhp and 39 Nm of torque. It will come with a 6-speed gearbox, slipper clutch, and bi-directional quick shifter. The current top-spec model of the bike is sold by KTM for 3.6 lakhs (ex-showroom). The price of the upcoming 2025 model may increase slightly.
