The adoption of battery in the commercial three-wheeler market, has been trending for quite a few years. One of the notable example ,among them, is ‘Toto,’ a popular means of transportation for the common people now-a-days.Similar to the design of ‘Toto’ Komaki has launched a three-wheeled electric vehicle called Komaki Cat 3.0.It is designed not only for personal use but also suitable for smooth goods transportation. Priced at 1.06 lakh INR (ex-showroom), the company claims, it bears a payload capacity of 500 kg, which is really commendable.

To enhance the driver’s convenience, Cat 3.0 comes with a digital display. It is also mentioned that this three-wheeled vehicle is entirely manufactured using indigenous technology.Powered by a mid-drive motor, it covers a range of 120 to 180 kilometers on a full charge as per company claims.Battery takes almost four to five hours to be fully charged at home.
Among the notable features of Komaki Cat 3.0, there is a digital instrument console that displays speedometer, odometer, trip meter, battery status, and other essential information. It also includes cruise control. The vehicle offers three riding modes which are Eco, Sport, and Turbo. This 3-wheeled electric vehicle features regenerative braking and a reverse mode.
As per hardware-specifications Cat 3.0 is equipped with a telescopic front fork and leaf spring suspension. The all three 12-inch wheels come with disc brakes.Additionally, it has a brake lever that functions similarly to that of a handbrake.To ensure stability on uneven roads, it features a tilt mechanism.
