Hero Vida V1 Plus is back once again in the bike market of India. Positioned below the Vida V1 Pro in this lineup, it has been revealed with a price tag of Rs.1.15 lakh (ex-showroom). Therefore, it is being offered to the customers with a discount of Rs.30,000 while compared to the V1 Pro, it’s siblings. Within this very price, a portable charger will also be provided. Buyers can also seek the privilege of benefits taken from the central government’s FAME-2 project. Surprisingly, with the project’s additional subsidy, Vi Pro can be purchased in city like Delhi for Rs.97,800 (ex-showroom).
Vida V1 Plus and V1 Pro share the same electric motor with an output of 6 kilowatts. However, the Plus variant takes 0.2 seconds more to accelerate from 0-40 km/h compared to the Pro variant. The V1 Plus features a 3.44-kilowatt-hour battery, providing a claimed range of 100 kilometers on a full charge. The top speed is 65 kilometers per hour.
On the other hand, the Vida V1 Pro, with a 3.94-kilowatt-hour battery, can cover a practical range of 110 kilometers on a full charge. Both models share similar features, including design, chassis, wheels, brakes, colors, and a touchscreen display. In the market, Vida V1 Plus competes against Ather 450 Plus and Ola S1 Air.
