Seven-seater model Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is an extremely popular family car or Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV) in India. This car is sold in various countries in South Asia. Now, in Indonesia, the company has launched a new version of the Ertiga with a smart hybrid system. It is named Suzuki Ertiga Cruise Hybrid. Experts believe that it might also come to India. One notable feature of the Ertiga Cruise Hybrid is that it has adopted a mild hybrid system, meaning it has reduced dependency on petrol. The battery system has been added to enhance mileage while reducing emissions.

As an update, the Ertiga Cruise Hybrid has a more sporty look compared to the previous version. It is equipped with new LED DRLs, front and rear bumper under spoilers, side body decals, upper roof spoiler, antenna, and dual-tone alloy wheels. The car will be available in Pearl White and Cool Black colors.
The power source for the Suzuki Ertiga Cruise Hybrid is a 1.5-liter K15B Smart Hybrid engine, along with a 10 Ampere-hour lithium-ion battery pack. As a result, the car will deliver more than 20 kilometers per liter. The engine produces 103 bhp of power and 138 Nm of torque. It comes with a 5-speed manual and torque converter automatic transmission.
The mild hybrid version of the car comes with an 8-year or 160,000 kilometers (whichever is earlier) battery warranty. The cabin is adorned with a black and grey color scheme. Some notable features inside include a MID display, cruise control, ventilated cup holder, auto climate control, and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Safety features include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, ISOFIX anchors, Hill Hold Assist (only in the automatic variant), and a reverse camera with parking sensors.
In the Indonesian market, the Suzuki Ertiga Cruise Hybrid is priced at 288 million Indonesian Rupiah. In Indian currency, this is approximately 15.3 lakh rupees, and the manual variant is priced at 301 million Indonesian Rupiah (around 16 lakh rupees). Currently, in India, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga starts at 8.68 lakh rupees.
