Almost every day, new players in the two-wheeler industry are presenting their innovations. This time, before the official launch, Emobi, a Bangalore-based EV startup, has unveiled their new electric scooter named Kyari. Let’s delve into the details.
Emobi states that Kyari is designed for Business-to-Business (B2B) use, specifically in the home delivery or product supply segment. However, the company also targets personal use with this two-wheeler. The electric scooter made its debut at the ‘India Mobility Expo 2024’.The company is particularly focused on increasing its presence in the last-mile delivery domain.
The launch date for Emobi Kyari has not been disclosed yet. Although its development is not complete at present, it may feature a swappable battery system. The company is working collaboratively with Honda and Misashi for expanding its network and to launch new models.
Kyari boasts a unique design with a flat, elongated seat for comfortable riding. It ensures ease for the rider to sit and facilitates carrying larger quantity of goods. Its dimensions are 1870 mm in length, 705 mm in width, and 1010 mm in height.
Emobi Kyari comes equipped with telescopic front suspension and dual-shock rear absorber as its technical features. It is powered by a 1.3 kW Honda e:swap battery and a 4.2 kW spindle motor, generating 18.7 Nm torque. With a range of 85 kilometers on a full charge and a top speed of 75 kilometers per hour, it aims to provide practical and efficient transportation as well.
