In India’s premium motorcycle market, Hero MotoCorp created a buzz last year with the Karizma XMR. The bike gained attention from many buyers upon its launch. As the new year began, it revealed a special edition – Hero Karizma CE (Commemorative Edition) – at the Hero World 2024 event. Let’s take a look at what makes this Karizma special.
Recently, Hero shook the 125cc segment with the launch of Xtreme 125R. Additionally, the premium two-wheeler Mavrick 440 was unveiled. It will soon be launched in the Indian market. However, Karizma CE serves a specific purpose for Hero MotoCorp. It is introduced in celebration of the birth centenary of Dr. Brijmohan Lall Munjal, the founder of Hero MotoCorp. Only 100 units of this special edition will be sold, starting from July this year.
Karizma CE: Features and Specifications:
Talking about the design of Karizma CE, it features a quarter fairing, reminiscent of the original Karizma. The majority of the bike’s body panels are made of carbon fiber. However, the handlebar is not clip-on, unlike Karizma XMR.
Dr. Brijmohan’s image is given a prominent place on the tank as a badge. This limited sports bike edition also houses the 210cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine from Karizma XMR. It comes with six-speed gears. CE boasts premium components like USD forks, Ohlins mono-shock, radial front brake caliper, and specially designed Pirelli tires for enhanced grip. Additionally, it features a hydraulic actuator for the clutch and an Arkapovic exhaust muffler.
