Now the English will ride a Made-in-India sports bike, thanks to the premium two-wheeler brand Aprilia from Italy. Last year, the company launched its most affordable racing bike in India, the Aprilia RS 457, which gained huge popularity in the market. Responding to good demand, they have now launched the RS 457, made in India, in England. It is priced at around 6.80 lakh INR in Indian currency. Meanwhile, the fully-faired sports bike costs 4.10 lakh INR (ex-showroom) in this country.
Aprilia RS 457: Engine Specifications and Features
The RS 457 houses a 457 cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that produces a maximum power of 47.6 PS at 9400 RPM and a torque of 43.5 Nm at 6700 RPM. It comes with a slipper clutch and an optional bi-directional quick shifter, coupled with a six-speed gearbox.To handle suspension duties, the bike features an inverted fork(Upside Down ) at the front and a preload-adjustable monoshock absorber at the rear. It has 17-inch alloy wheels on both ends. For braking, it comes with dual-disc brakes at the front as well as rear wheels. Additionally, it features standard dual-channel ABS.

The bike is equipped with LED lights throughout. A 5-inch TFT display serves as the instrument cluster. It comes with Bluetooth connectivity, navigation system, ABS, anti-roll system, traction control, and three riding modes. The Indian and international models of the bike are available in three color schemes. Currently, the Aprilia RS 457 bike is being manufactured at the Piaggio plant in Maharashtra.
