Ola Electric has consistently claimed the top position in electric scooter sales in recent months, dazzling customers with various attractive offers. Even in the ongoing month, there have been no exception of that.The company recently announced a price reductions up to ₹25,000 for models like Ola S1 Pro, S1 Air, and S1 X+. This move has proven fruitful for Ola, as their showrooms are witnessing a surge in demand for affordable e-scooters. According to reports from MoneyControl, Ola managed to sell 10,000 e-scooters within just three days of announcing the price cuts.
According to experts, on this announcement of substantial price-cuts ,early in the second month of the new year, Ola has shown their regulatory expertise to captivate more number of customers. Their flagship model, the S1 Pro, is currently priced at ₹1.30 lakh (ex-showroom), a significant reduction of Rs.17,500 from its previous model that was priced at ₹1,47,500.
On the other hand, the Ola S1 Air is currently priced at ₹1.05 lakh (ex-showroom), which is ₹15,000 cheaper compared to its earlier version price of ₹1.20 lakh. Furthermore, Ola’s most affordable scooter, the S1 X+, is now available at ₹85,000 (Ex-showroom), down by ₹25,000 from it’s previous counterpart of ₹1.10 lakh(Ex-showroom), making it the most budget-friendly option, even cheaper than many petrol scooters in the market
Ola Electric aims to build trust among customers by offering an extended 8-year or 80,000 kilometers (whichever is earlier) battery warranty on every product, without any additional charges.On the other hand, they are planning to expand their service centers from 414 to 600 by April this year, that will enhance further more customer support and after-sales services as well.
