Hero MotoCorp has recently launched their most expensive and powerful motorcycle, the Mavrick 440, in India. This move aims to strengthen Hero’s position in the premium bike market. Based on the Harley X440 Roadster, the Mavrick is considerably more affordable, attracting a significant number of customers. Let’s explore the Hero Mavrick 440 bike through five essential points.

Hero Mavrick 440 Design:

From a design perspective, the Hero Mavrick 440 is a roadster model with a neo-retro look. It features LED headlights, a muscular fuel tank, and sharp side panels, enhancing the bike’s aesthetics. It comes in five colors – Arctic White, Fearless Red, Celestial Blue, Phantom Black, and Enigma Black. Additionally, it offers three variants – Base, Mid, and Top, each with distinct features and prices.

Hero Mavrick 440 Features:

The Hero Mavrick 440 boasts notable features such as a full digital console, smartphone connectivity, SMS, and call alerts. Bluetooth connectivity is exclusive to the Top variant. The bike also includes a Type-C charging port for charging various gadgets.

Hero Mavrick 440: Engine

The power source for the Hero Mavrick 440 is a 440cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine, delivering a maximum power of 27 bhp and 36 Nm of torque. It comes with a six-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch.

Hero Mavrick 440: Hardware

Unlike the USD front fork in the X440, the Mavrick 440 features conventional telescopic front forks and a monoshock suspension. It comes with 17-inch wheels and 320mm/240mm disc brakes at the front and rear, respectively. The bike rides on 110/70 front and 150/60 rear tires, with the Base model having spoke wheels instead of alloy wheels.

Hero Mavrick 440: Price

The Base model of the Hero Mavrick 440 is priced at INR 1,99,000, the Mid variant at INR 2,14,000, and the Top variant at INR 2,24,000 (ex-showroom). In the market, it competes with the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Triumph Speed 400, and Harley-Davidson X440.
