The Japanese company’s Indian branch has announced the recall of over 3 lakh models, specifically Ray ZR 125 Fi Hybrid and Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid. This recall, related to brake lever functionality issues, is the highest in the history of the company in India.
It’s been revealed that every model of Ray ZR 125 Fi Hybrid and Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid manufactured from January 1, 2022, to January 4, 2024, will undergo a cost-free replacement of the brake lever if a defect is found. Now the matter is, upon hearing this news, many have started to think whether their scooter falls under the purview of the company’s announcement!

In this context, it has been claimed in a report that this is the second-largest recall in the Indian automotive industry to date. In May 2021, Honda issued a recall notice to withdraw a total of 6,15,666 two-wheelers from the market. This included models such as Activa 5G/6G/125, CB Shine, CB 300R, H’ness CB350, X-Blade, and Hornet.
