Last year, Triumph, the iconic British motorcycle manufacturer, launched the Scrambler 400X in India in collaboration with Bajaj. This year, they’ve introduced another fantastic motorcycle for the country’s market – the Triumph Scrambler 1200X, priced at ₹11.83 lakhs (ex-showroom).
The Triumph Scrambler 1200X’s seat height from the ground is 820 mm, but using accessories, it can be lowered down to 795 mm. This adjustment makes it suitable for riders of varying heights. Handling the suspension duties is the rear Marzocchi monoshock with preload adjustability, along with Nissin calipers.
To deliver high power, the Triumph Scrambler 1200X is equipped with a 1200cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine. It produces a maximum power of 88.7 bhp and 110 Nm torque. For off-roading and long rides, it features 21-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels.
The bike has a fuel tank capacity of 15 liters and weighs 228 kg. Notable features include an LCD and TFT-integrated digital console, five riding modes, cornering ABS, and traction control system.
