At the 2024 India Mobility Show, various automotive companies are showcasing one car after another, including Tata Motors. The company has already unveiled eight new cars, among them the Tata Harrier EV concept, an electric car in a stylish sea-green color. Tata Harrier EV made its debut at the auto expo in January last year.
Reports suggest that the Harrier EV might launch in the Indian market by 2025. This new electric car could be based on the company’s new Acti.EV platform, possibly featuring an AWD layout. It is anticipated to be the first EV model from Tata Motors relying on the AWD layout and the Acti.EV platform.
Tata’s electric vehicle is expected to come equipped with advanced features like Advanced Driving Assistance Systems (ADAS) and a charging port. While specific details about the powertrain remain unknown, it is speculated to use a large battery pack. The Harrier EV is claimed to provide a range of 500 kilometers on a full charge.
Moreover, the Harrier EV boasts a spacious cabin compared to its ICE model, featuring an AI-powered digital driver display and a 12.3-inch floating screen similar to the one in the Nexon EV. The production-ready model is expected to share many elements with the version showcased at the India Mobility Show.
