Recently, in India, Hero MotoCorp has launched its much-awaited flagship model, the Mavrick 440. It’s built in collaboration with Hero and Harley-Davidson, using the platform of X440 Roadster that was released last year. This new bike’s exterior looks blends neo-retro style with modern flavour.Just as it’s old-school design evokes memories of the past, it equally incorporates modern features, making it suitable for today’s use. Hero Mavrick 440: Design

The Hero Mavrick 440 is crafted based on the architecture of the Harley-Davidson X440. It features a circular LED headlight, DRL, muscular fuel tank, extended side panels, a long single-seat, and adequate grab rails. It comes in three variants: base, mid, and top. The base model flaunts a combination of Arctic White and Black colors along with spoked wheels. The mid variant offers dual-tone shades – Celestial Blue and Fearless Red, accompanied by alloy wheels. Lastly, the top model comes with Phantom Black and Enigma Black seat color scheme.

Hero Mavrick 440: Engine Specifications

The Hero Mavrick hosts a 440cc single-cylinder air/oil-cooled engine, similar to the X440 model. It is capable of producing a maximum power of 27 bhp at 6,000 rpm and a torque of 36 Nm at 4,000 rpm. It comes with a six-speed gearbox. Handling suspension duties are telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Both wheels feature disc brakes.

Hero Mavrick 440: Price and Competitors

The base model of the Hero Mavrick 440 is priced at ₹1,99,000, the mid variant at ₹2,14,000, and the top trim at ₹2,24,000 (ex-showroom). Its competitors in the market include the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Triumph Speed 400, and Harley-Davidson X440. Being slightly cheaper in the line-up, will offer ,somewhat, an additional benefit for Hero.Deliveries are set to commence from April through Hero’s new premium dealerships.
